An Alternative Wedding: Brogan and Joe's Unique Celebration in Kelham Island, Sheffield
Brogan and Joe’s wedding was a unique celebration, full of alternative touches. The couple chose to celebrate their special day in the beautiful Kelham Island area of Sheffield, with their ceremony at Chimney House surrounded by close family and friends, followed by a reception at The Hide - a former warehouse urban event space where guests were treated to delicious food, drinks, and banging tunes! We started the day with a wedding celebration at the Chimney House, an iconic 18th century industrial warehouse - with a 93 foot chimney - located on Sheffield's historic waterway, Kelham Island. Helen Jubb delivered a beautiful, personalised ceremony after which we took some fun group photos on the cobbled streets outside the venue.
After a pint at the local pub, we made our way on foot to the reception at the Hide and took the opportunity to have a few wedding portraits in the former industrial Sheffield streets. The Hide is an attention grabbing, quirky, former warehouse on Scotland Street, Sheffield. The venue boasts two large rooms along with a pair of classic Citroen vans which serve as the bar and kitchen within the space. There's plenty of capacity and the opportunity to customise the venue to your heart's content.
Brogan and Joe's wedding was full of fun, laughter, and unique touches. As the speeches were delivered, guests enjoyed a selection of Asian cuisine prepared on site. After some after dark couple portraits, everyone danced the night away to some great tunes while having a wonderful time celebrating this special day with their closest family and friends!
